Celebrity Reflection is the fifth and most refined ship in the Solstice class, incorporating the best feedback from her four predecessors. She features Celebrity's famous lawn deck (a real grass lawn on the top of the ship), the Persian Garden thermal suite, and the premium food and service standards that earned Celebrity its reputation as the best mainstream cruise line for dining. Based in Fort Lauderdale, she sails Caribbean loops year-round and seasonally to the Mediterranean.

✦ The standout feature

The Lawn Club — a genuine half-acre of real grass growing on the top deck, where guests can play croquet, bocce, and picnic on the open sea. No other cruise ship has a comparable feature — it's one of the most memorable and photographed spaces in all of mainstream cruising.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Celebrity Reflection different from other Solstice-class ships?
Reflection is the most refined Solstice ship, incorporating improvements from the earlier four ships in the class (Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, Silhouette). She has the best proportions, the most polished interior design, and subtle tweaks throughout that experienced Solstice-class cruisers notice. She also has the Reflection Suite, the largest standard suite in the Solstice fleet.
Is the Lawn Club on Celebrity Reflection real grass?
Yes. The Lawn Club is a genuine half-acre of Kentucky Bluegrass growing on Deck 15. Celebrity has tended real grass at sea since Solstice debuted in 2008, maintaining it with specialised UV lighting and irrigation systems. You can play croquet, bocce, and lounge on it — one of the most unique experiences in mainstream cruising.
What is Murano on Celebrity Reflection?
Murano is Celebrity's flagship specialty restaurant — a French-influenced fine dining experience with tableside preparations, sommelier service, and a menu that changes seasonally. It consistently ranks among the best meals passengers have had on any cruise ship. There's a cover charge of approximately $55 per person.
Is Celebrity Reflection better than Celebrity Ascent?
Ascent (2023) has newer Edge-class features including Infinite Veranda cabins, the Magic Carpet, and Eden. Reflection offers the classic Solstice experience: Lawn Club, Murano, and a more traditional (but still excellent) layout. Many Solstice loyalists prefer Reflection's aesthetic; newer cruisers tend to prefer Ascent's modern design.
