Celebrity Edge debuted in 2018 as the most radically designed mainstream cruise ship in decades. Breaking from the traditional box-ship aesthetic, Edge features a dramatic cantilevered Magic Carpet — a moveable orange deck element that rides up the side of the ship and serves as a restaurant at height, a bar, and a tender platform. She pioneered the design language that Celebrity Beyond and Ascent would refine, and her combination of architectural ambition and genuine culinary excellence earns her a passionate following.
The Magic Carpet — a cantilevered orange platform that moves up and down the side of the ship, serving as a craft cocktail bar at Deck 14, a fine dining extension restaurant at Deck 5, and a tender embarkation point at Deck 2. Nothing quite like it exists on any other ship.
